Body spray will not remove pet odor. You need to remove the odor by removing the stain, sorry, a little work will be necessary. Mix a 50/50 solution of distilled white vinegar with water, blot it over the smelly area, then blot up with a dry towel and let it air dry. Once dry the vinegar smell is gone and it evaporates with the dried urine, removing both the stain and the odor.

There is a product that I think has moved into supermarkets now that is called Kids and Pets. It works great with stains and also neutralizes odors like urine, feces and vomit. It is a little pricey but it works so good that it is the only thing I buy now.

25% white vinegar and 75% water, spray and blot up until ‘pee’ is removed( spray and put some paper towel over it, stand on it and contine to do this until it is clean)….if it is a dry stain then bicar of soda sprinkled on will absorb smells however you need to get the pee out………..lots of products will cover up the smell and you will need to keep spraying to keep it covered up, however the smell is still there until you get it out.

Bath and body works spray airfresher, It works wonders and its fast too! If the pee is coming from the carpet then you need to pull it out because the pee is probably in the padding. Thats only if cleaning the carpet doesnt work

Yes. Do not waste your time on do-it-yourself cleaning products, or even the Rug Doctor that you can rent at your local supermarket.

Have a company liek Stanley Steemer come in and do it for you…. quick, affordable, and works. Even still, know that pet urine is most likely down in the carpet pad. Even steam cleaning won’t remove that. What you’ll need to do it pull up your carpet (it’s not difficult), and remove the padding. If you can cut a certain portion of it and remove and clean it yourself, do that. If not, go buy a new carpet pad. It isn’t that expensive… you should be able to replace a bedroom for about $30. I guarantee you that as soon as you replace the pad, the smell will be gone, provided the carpet has been cleaned.

For the small, in-between cleanings of accidents, etc., try Nature’s Miracle, available at any pet store. It works great.
