Is there a DIY pet stain and odor remover?

I currently am a soldier stationed in Germany and the stores around here don’t have anything to remove pet odors and stains from furniture. I have a party planned next weekend for friends returning from Iraq….HELP!
No there is no Glade Pet Fresh or anything like that around here. I had expected to find something at the store, but to my surprise…. nothing for pet odors and no time to order cleaner online because it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

I have been told white vinegar or ammonia. I tried them both when I had a cat that was "marking" and it didn’t last. It would smell better at first but the smell would come back. Someone told me it was because it was cat urine and that was a lot worse than dog urine? Can you get like Glade Pet Fresh? The powder or the spray is really good at getting just regular ol dog smell out.
