Pet stain remover RUG DOCTOR RENTAL?

have a 900.sq ft condo. I am going to rent a Rug Doctor to clean the carpet in my hallway,my living room and my bedroom. I have a 3 yr old shih tzu who has unfortunately, peed on the carpet and has had an accident or two in the bedroom.
I plan on using the wide trac machine, seems faster..Any helpful hints/tips ,please? I’m also thinking I should buy their odor remover bio enzyme technology to put in the machine and oxy steam cleaning solution? Any helpful tips… if you have ever tried to clean your carpets before due to pets, would be helpful and appreciated!

Get the pet stain and odor remover from the pet dept of the grocery store or walmart. Use that on all the stains 24 hrs before using the rug dr. After cleaning the carpet go over it again with 25/75% white vinegar($2.50 gal in grocery store)and hot water. This will eliminate odors and get rid of any residue on the carpet.
Follow the directions on the pet stain and odor remover. It contains enzymes that "eat" the pet urine. Be sure to let it soak into the padding.
