Questions for those who use/have used the pet stain remover Nature’s Miracle?

I was looking for a good pet stain remover and Nature’s Miracle seemed to be suggested a lot so I just had some questions. :)

1. How much is it?

2. How does it work? (ex. spray then soak or spray and leave it alone?)

3. Can you describe the stain before/after using it? Basically, is the stain completely gone after it’s dry?

4. Does it work on old stains? There are A LOT of old pet stains on my carpet and some of them have even turned gray. If it doesn’t work, I’d really appreciate another suggestion on getting rid of them, if that’s even possible. Thanks!

I just bought Urine Gone today and it worked wonders. It was $20.00 and came with a small black light that helped me track down any other areas where my cat may have left his "scent". You just spray it on and leave it alone. It has an enzyme that breaks down the urine. After it dries if you look with the black light then the yellow glow is no longer there. Sorry I don’t know anything about the Nature’s Miracle.

Actually, I just learned that Natures Miracle has been bought out by another company, and the product s not nearly as good as it used to be. The original formula is now called Petastic. (on shelf next to Nature’s Miracle) ..You will find at any pet supply shop, for a little less. I think it runs about $7 per bottle..spray, allow to set for a minutes, then blot with toweling, paper of cloth.
It works for me! Stain and odor all gone…Some fabrics may be more resistant than others.
I also like Zero Odor, available only online..You will find it on their website, and cheaper on eBay. I think it is $20
well, now they are selling it as a ‘kit’ instead of a single bottle, and it runs a little more> http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R10&submitsearch=Search&satitle=zero+odor&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D2

I think it is about $23 for a gallon jug of the Nature’s Miracle. It is good for just the stain and odor. You won’t be able to see where it was. I believe you soak the stain for 5 minutes or something and blot it with a rag or something. It does work on old stains too.

If your pets have specific places or spots that they like to go to the bathroom in, then you should get a product called Get Serious. It not only gets out the stain and odor, but it also gets out the pheromone that attracts your pet back to those spots. Nature’s Miracle does not get rid of the pheromone. Get Serious costs more. I think it is about $32 for a gallon. But you actually use less of it than you use of Nature’s Miracle. It is a great product. I know it is sold at Petsmart.

Yes, Nature’s Miracle does work. I have not had many old pet stains on my carpet because I cleaned them up right away. This product was suggested to me by a Petco employee. It costs about $8 – but it it well worth the cost. This product gets rid of the stain and smell very effectively (getting rid of the smell is important in teaching your pet not to go in house anymore!). I forget exactly what the instuctions on the bottle are , but I spray the product directly onto the stain, wait about 5-10 min. and using an old towel, "blot" the stain by stepping onto the towel. This, I feel, draws the stain out of the carpet, whereas scrubbing or rubbing the stain actually drives the stain into the lower carpet fibers, only to resurface later. Good luck!

From my experience, it wont work if the color of the carpet changed already.
